JOIN A TEAM & PLEDGE YOUR SUPPORT

If you would like to increase your involvement with The B+ Foundation at Alabama, you can sign up on our Spin-A-Thon donation page as an individual, or with a team.

A Spin-A-Thon team consists of a group of students, faculty, staff, alumni, members of the University of Alabama community, and B+ supporters who raise awareness and funds to fight pediatric cancer. Individuals & Teams can choose a commitment level and set financial goals, which will be displayed on the team page.

COMMIT TO BEATING CHILDHOOD CANCER

 

There are multiple levels of commitment that all come with perks & requirements:

 

When creating a personal page on the UA B+ donation website and agreeing to be in our Spinner Program, you pledge to try and meet the following requirements: Be present (mentally and physically!) for the duration of the Spin-A-Thon and raise a minimum of $500 on the UA B+ donation website. To help you achieve your fundraising goal we have broken it down into six checkpoints with incentives along the way. By completing the requirements of the Spinner Program you will receive a free UA B+ Spinner Program t-shirt and you will be able to cherish the accomplishment of raising money to fight pediatric cancer.

SPINNER PROGRAM

COMMA CLUB

When creating a personal page on the UA B+ donation website and agreeing to be in our Comma Club, you pledge to try and meet the following requirements: Be present (mentally and physically!) for the duration of the Spin-A-Thon and raise a minimum of $1,000 on the UA B+ donation website. To help you achieve your fundraising goal we have broken it down into seven checkpoints with incentives along the way. By completing the requirements of the Comma Club you will receive a free UA B+ Comma Club t-shirt, exclusive products, onstage special recognition, and you will be able to cherish the accomplishment of raising money to fight pediatric cancer.

STAFF: EXECUTIVE BOARD

After the Spin-A-Thon, the current Co-Presidents will choose two new Co-Presidents for the following year through an application and interview process. In order to apply for this, individuals must have served at least one year on the Executive Board. After the new Co-Presidents are chosen, Executive Board applications will made available to University of Alabama students. After reviewing applications and conducting interviews, the new Executive Board will be chosen. In order to apply for this, individuals must have served at least one year on Morale, FOB+, or on the Executive Board.
